Morgan & Oates targets airport and cruiseship retail

Scarf and textile accessories company, Morgan & Oates returns to TFWA World Exhibition (Mediterranean Village, P19) with an ambition to expand its distribution channel into airport and cruiseship/ferry retail. Having built its reputation as an inflight supplier, and while that remains its core business, Morgan & Oates sees huge potential for the brand in the wider travel retail arena.

“We exhibited at TFWA Asia Pacific show in Singapore this year and had several positive meetings; we are hoping to continue these conversations in Cannes. We have a very successful inflight business, with listings around the globe, but we see great opportunities for our products in airport and cruiseship/ferry retail, so this is a real focus for us this year,” explains Jeannie Archer, Consultant, Morgan & Oates.

Aiming to entice these new operators, Morgan & Oates is showcasing its newly extended HERITAGE COLLECTION -  a range of irresistible and luxurious 60 x 180cm blended 10% Cashmere/90% Merino wraps.

New for TFWA World Exhibition:

·      Zebra Stripe - Following the success of the exclusive blue Zebra stripe created for SAS, Morgan & Oates introduced red and green versions in Singapore for the wider market. These were so well received that it has added new summery shades for Cannes.
·      Morgan & Oates’ Poppy Red floral collection continues to be in high demand so it has extended the range with new designs and colourways.
·      New abstract prints have been added to its ever-popular floral collections in a variety of colourways.

Heritage is one of Morgan & Oates’ best-selling collections year in and year out, so adding new designs and colourways is a great way of ensuring the collection continues to be fresh and on-trend,” comments Archer. “All of our products are exclusive to travel retail and use only natural fibres, giving Morgan & Oates a competitive edge over its rivals. This along with a team that has collectively more than 40 years’ experience in travel retail is why we are unique to the channel.”
