Kurate International is bringing the moon and the stars
to this years’ TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition and Conference (Stand number
Basement 2, H32) with the introduction of its Wonderlust collection to
Singapore. The jewellery and watch expert first launched the whimsical pieces at
TFWA World Exhibition to a sterling response, and it aims to receive similar
feedback from its Asian customers.
Inspired by the wonders of travel and astronomy, the
dreamy range is decorated with crystal details adding a cosmic sparkle to
anyone’s look. Since its launch in Cannes, in October, Kurate has added new
pieces to the collection creating a range of travel retail exclusive sets that
include necklaces, earrings and bangles/bracelets.
“The use of astronomy in fashion continues to be a
big trend in both the fashion and jewellery market. Spotting trends is a large
part of our strategy and one we believe is critical in this competitive
business.
“We were delighted with how well received the
collection was in Cannes and we are confident that the Asian market will have
an equally positive response,” comments Claire O’Donnell, Key Account Manager,
Kurate International.
Kurate International will also be introducing its new
Free Standing Display Unit (FSDU) to the Asian market, as it aims to infiltrate
ground stores as well as expanding onboard retail to the cruise industry with
its range of jewellery and watches.
Adds O’Donnell, “This is a big step for Kurate. At
present, we work exclusively with airlines in the travel retail industry, but
the introduction of this FSDU means we are looking forward to opening up
opportunities in other sectors of travel retail such as ferry and cruise
operators. Our main aim for this year is
to meet with as many of these operators as possible, introduce them to Kurate,
showcase the brand and how our FSDU could work for them.”
