Aurora World is pleased to announce it will be exhibiting at the
TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition after a fruitful year in travel retail.
On display on Aurora’s stand (G6, Basement 2) will be:
Sparkle
Tales – The concept has been developed from an existing concept called
‘Candies’, a consistent best-seller for Aurora’s customers, and features
Unicorns and Dragons in different colours with glittery accents (hooves, horns
etc). By making use of the latest plush fabric technology, every Sparkle Tales
product feels super cuddly and tactile. Available in 18cm and 30cm sizes in
bright pastel colours, retail price points are from $17 to $28 USD, with a
promotional/jumbo size also available for $99 USD.
Fancy Pals – Three
new designs join the 12-strong collection - which is already seeing strong
sales in travel retail locations -including Peek-A-Boo Puppy, Peek-A-Boo Kitty
and Peek-A-Boo Husky, all retailing at $22 USD. These cute pet-in-a-bag
characters tie in perfectly with the travel element and are ideal for travel
retail stores.
Tokidoki Plush– Tokidoki
is an innovative line of apparel, handbags, cosmetics, accessories and more –
with larger-than-life characters and designs and a huge global following. The
brand’s cult status has fuelled high-profile collaborations with Karl
Lagerfield, LeSportsac, Onitsuka Tiger, Marvel, New Era, Hello Kitty, Fujitsu,
Levi’s, Smashbox cosmetics, Xbox, T-mobile, Fornarina, Skullycandy and Medicom
Toy. The Tokidoki plush range available through Aurora World is based around on
trend Unicorns and Mermaids and includes keychains and plush in 20cm and 30cm
sizes, with retail prices from $9 to $35 USD.
Sea
Sparkles – A collection of plush mermaids in a variety of bright colour
combinations and sizes. From its huge 46cm mermaids to the smaller 17cm
backpack clips, the Sea Sparkles range has become one of Aurora’s best-selling
items over the last few years, growing from just 6 styles to now well over 50.
The range provides a perfect gifting opportunity for young girls and retails
from $10 to $20 USD.
Aurora will also be featuring its new merchandising display for
its core character, YooHoo. The unit brings 20 styles of mini YooHoo together,
provides a fun and colourful display and
– measuring just 1.45m high x 0.6m wide – is perfect for locating in high
traffic areas to encourage impulse sales.
Says Garry Stoner, Aurora World’s Travel Retail Sales Manager:
“Broadly speaking, Aurora World is performing well in Asia. In 2017 we saw a
42.6% sales increase compared to the year before and, from the figures we have
gathered from this year already, we anticipate this upward curve to continue
throughout this year and into the next.
“This will be our second time exhibiting at the TFWA Asia Pacific
show and we very much to forward to building on the success we achieved last
year as a first time exhibitor.”
