William
Grant & Sons is pleased to report a fabulous turnout at its recent event
with King Power Thailand in Bangkok to celebrate the launch of the King Power Exclusive
– Glenfiddich 1988 Rare Cask.
The
sit-down dinner and whisky tasting launch event was attended by 30 selected VIP
members of King Power Thailand at the Glen Bar, King Power Pullman Hotel; and
was hosted by regional Glenfiddich Brand Ambassador, Matthew Fergusson-Stewart.
Pichai Pitakchaisuk, Executive Vice President of King Power Thailand (Group
Merchandising), was in attendance at the event, together with his team.
The
four-course menu enjoyed by all in attendance was carefully selected, to
accompany the exceptional line up of whiskies for the evening. While the
Glenfiddich 21 and Glenfiddich 25 were usual crowd favourites, the Glenfiddich
1988 stole the show that evening with its exceptional liquid quality. The dinner ended with a pleasant surprise –
House of Hazelwood 21, one of the latest additions to William Grant and Sons
Travel Retail portfolio.
The Glenfiddich
1988 Rare Cask is a single cask selected by and bottled exclusively for King
Power Thailand. The limited 123 bottles of this rare whisky highlights the
amicable partnership behind this collaboration, and can be found only at King
Power Thailand duty free stores.
Says WGS Scott
Hamilton: “This is not the first time we had an outstanding event with King
Power and its VIP’s, and it has reinforced the great relationship we share with
the customer. The function was a great success and we have received a lot of
positive feedback.”
Pichai
Pitakchaisuk, King Power commented: “It is an honour to be the exclusive
stockist of Glenfiddich 1988 Rare Cask, we enjoy a great working relationship
with William Grant & Sons and thank them for the great launch where we
could build on our relationship, enjoy awesome entertainment, and of course
drink extraordinary whiskies!”
