Illva Saronno is returning to Singapore this year for the
TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference, to further build its presence in
the channel and meet with potential new buyers.
The main focus will be the world’s favourite Italian
liqueur, Disaronno, which is available also as a limited edition collaboration
with Italian fashion designer. The Disaronno wears Etro bottle draws inspiration
from the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2016 collection. Each year, Illva Saronno
introduces a new collaboration with an Italian fashion designer to produce a
one of a kind bottle that makes a perfect collector’s item or gift. The upcoming
collaboration remains under wraps until later this year.
Also on display will be the new packaging
for the world renowned coffee liqueur, Tia Maria, which takes on an attractive
look with a contemporary twist. An elegant silhouette; which shows off its
harmonious shape, and a deep red label on the black bottle; to show off its
harmonious shape, renders Tia Maria even more prominent behind the bar and on
the shelf.
The new Tia Maria bottle has been tested
with consumers through the use of an innovative research method based on neuromarketing.
It is a discipline that blends traditional marketing with neuroscience and
pyschology, measuring what occurs in the human brain when it is subjected to
stimuli related to products or brands. The result represents a further step
forward for a historic brand that has always been in vogue, even for newer
generations.
The iconic Bitter, Rabarbaro Zucca, will
also be presented to buyers. Made
from an infusion of Rhubarb Rootstocks and a secret selection of rare herbs,
Rabarbaro Zucca captures an appealingly delicate flavour. Zucca is made using
the root of the true Chinese Rhubarb, which grows only in the mountainous
regions of the Gansu Province. Rabarbaro
Zucca received a silver medal in the International Spirits
Challenge 2017 and a platinum medal in the International Review of Spirits –
Tastings 2016.
Deemed
perfect for Asia Pacific buyers due to its stunning packaging and unique
premium positioning is Disaronno Riserva. Riserva is a blend of two excellent
high quality products: Disaronno Originale and a Scotch Whisky which has a
selected blend of malt from the Highland and Speyside Islands. Married in Oak
barrels that for more than 12 years contained Marsala Reserves, this limited
edition is an exceptional product and is packaged to the highest standard.
Presented in a thick wooden frame, the bottle screams elegance and
sophistication, making it the perfect gift for a liquor lover. Illva Saronno
believes that this is particularly suited for buyers in Asia Pacific who are looking
for unique premium products presented in stunning packaging.
Illva Saronno’s wine offers will also be on display for
visitors: Duca di Salaparuta and Florio. The highlight of the offer is Duca
Enrico, which was produced for the first time in 1984 and is the first single
varietal wine made from Nero d’Avola grapes in the history of Sicilian wines.
Florio wines come to life in a magical corner of the heart of the
Mediterranean, “the sun belt,” an area of south-western Sicily where there is a
special relationship between micro-climate, vines and land.
Domenico Toni, Illva Saronno’s International Sales Director,
comments: “Asia Pacific is still a very new region for us, and we have been
slowly introducing our brands over the past year. We are planning on greatly
building our business there, in both travel retail and domestic, over the next
5 years, so the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference is a vital
resource for us to accomplish our goals. We first exhibited at the show last
year, and received plenty of interest from buyers, we have high hopes that this
year will be even more successful for us!”
After a long, hard day work in the exhibition hall, visitors
to TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference can enjoy Disaronno’s famously
refreshing cocktail; Disaronno Sours, at the TFWA Asia Pacific bar from Monday
to Wednesday. The bar is situated on level 4 of the Marina Bay Sands Expo &
Convention Center and is open from 18.00 – 19.30, except on Monday when badge
holders can enjoy cocktails from 17.00 – 19.30.
