First time exhibitor,
Aurora World, makes its debut at this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition with
its popular character “Yoohoo” which features on kids TV around the world and
latest addition, tokidoki, designer plush range which is perfectly suited for
the Asia Pacific region (K33 Basement 2).
Garry Stoner, Aurora World’s Travel Retail Sales
Manager, says: “Travel Retail is of growing importance to us, we just
celebrated our 850th retail window, with more openings confirmed
over the next few months. Our objective is to work closely with our retail
partners in creating new revenue streams whether it be in an airport, cruise
ship, border store or ferry.
“We fully understand space restrictions and to this
end have been working closely with our customers in developing retail
merchandising solutions that maximize sales from a small footprint. For example
our latest POS can merchandise our ‘top 20’ travel retail assortment in a
0.650m footprint, this flexible display can be located in high traffic areas to
capitalize on the impulse nature of this market.
“For the last year we have been familiarizing ourselves with
the Asia Pacific region and introducing our brand to operators, and can report
some very positive feedback. We have recently confirmed new business with
Heinemann Asia and SMI Myanmar and are very close to securing additional supply
contracts with a number of other Asia based operators. This is a very exciting
time for us, and we are absolutely thrilled to be making our formal debut at
this years TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition.”
