Porsche Design launches three new sunglasses in gold as of April 2017.
The models of the Premium Lifestyle brand combine trendsetting materials and a contemporary design with extraordinary quality. Designed in close cooperation between Rodenstock and the Studio F. A. Porsche in Zell am See/Austria, the sunglasses carry the
DNA of motorsports in them.
P‘8478 in the Flash Gold Edition
A design icon, so unique that it is recognised worldwide: The P’8478 is one of the few spec- tacles that has remained unchanged for almost 40 years. Not only fashion victims in fashion metropolises and Hollywood stars love the unmistakeable style of the spectacles, more than 9 million sold units prove their wearability. A special mechanism allows the wearer to change the lenses. The P’8478 will be available as of April with lenses in "Flash Gold” and a copper- coloured metallic shade, which shift the focus onto the spectacles even more.

The reflective effect arises from the completely flat lenses that promote light re- fraction. The very narrow frame and sides complete the clear look of the spectacles and em- phasise their purist character.

Porsche Design presents the Outline, a spectacles classic that has advanced into an iconic piece due to the extraordinary details. A flowing outer line emphasises the classical lenses in a Carré shape, thereby reinterpreting a sunglasses look that has stayed with us since the ‘80s.
