This year’s TFWA World Exhibition sees travel retail exclusive scarf
specialist Morgan & Oates capitalise on the success of its newly launched
Beachwear range (Mediterranean Village, P19).
Due to the popularity of the 100% Silk Beach Tunic, which was
revealed earlier this year at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore,
Morgan & Oates has added a variety of new floral and tropical prints in
vivid and bright summer colours. Made of entirely natural fibres - like all of
Morgan & Oates’ products - the tunic is one-size-fits-all and is presented
in a handy zipper pouch with a vibrant orange Morgan & Oates logo with
Beachwear written underneath.
“The beachwear range has really taken off, and we can now reveal
that it has been listed inflight with KLM and Asiana for this summer,” says Jeannie
Archer, Morgan & Oates’ Sales Manager. “KLM is taking the Sunburst design –
bright tropical colours and floral print – while Asiana has listed the English
Garden varieties – a more subtle print with purple and greens.”
Brand new to the Beachwear range is the Morgan & Oates sarong
made from soft, breathable cotton. The sarong is easy to wear and versatile – it
can be tied and draped in a variety of different ways – and is available in a
selection of vivid and bright summer prints making it the perfect accessory for
travellers who want to add stylish coverage on sun-soaked holidays, whether by
the pool bar or strolling along the beach.
New designs and colourways have also been added to Morgan &
Oates’ ‘favourite’ wraps and scarves. The 90% merino 10% cashmere wraps
(Heritage Collection) have been updated with a variety of florals in varying
shades of chalky pink and ice blue while the 50/50 wraps (Mandarin Collection) will
be available in a selection of abstract soft pastel print designs.
New golden sunflower yellows and vivid coral pinks give the 100%
silk scarf (Elixir Collection) a summery look and the increasing success of
Morgan & Oates’ woven-in-the-UK 90%
merino 10% cashmere scarves (Windsor Collection) has inspired the company to
extend its colour offering to include more feminine pastel shades and add some
brighter pops of colour.
This collection of lightweight scarves has something for
everybody and is designed to appeal to both male and females whether they are
looking for a subtle summer scarf in traditional blues of something a little
bolder.
“A busy week awaits us in Cannes and, as usual, we can’t wait!”
Says Archer. “The initial success of the beachwear range in Singapore has left
us in high anticipation of the buyers’ reactions to our latest additions and we
also expect there to be significant interest in the made-in-the-UK Windsor
collection. We very much look forward to meeting with our existing and
potential clients and a week of productive work and, perhaps not as productive
but certainly as necessary, fun!”
Nice and informative post. Thanks for such a wonderful post.
