Aurora World and P&O Ferries collaborate once again onboard the Pride of Canterbury

For the third summer in succession the P & O Ferries / Aurora World pop-up shop collaboration has proved a huge success, the ship featured was “The Pride of Canterbury.”


P & O Buyer, Catherine Gaskin, said “Our pop-up shop programme offers our customers an enhanced shopping experience which includes instore theatre such as tastings, GWP promotional activity etc. Plus with Aurora we have a life size Yoohoo interacting with passengers – they love it. We also see a significant upturn in sales through higher conversion and average spend, this year we saw an Aurora sales uplift of plus 300%”


Aurora’s Travel Retail Sales Manager, Garry Stoner, commented: “Our instore Yoohoo promotional activity has always been popular with our retail partners and this year we have seen a record number of events across all channels. The goal is to help our partners convert more passengers into customers. Yoohoo is such a popular concept and we continue to substantial growth; it was great to see first-hand this promotional activity working so well with P & O Ferries”
