About Queen Bohemian Lager
Pilsner lager was born out of Plzen in the western half of the Czech Republic and previously part of the of Bohemian Kingdom back in the 1840’s and became known as the Bohemian Pilsner. The brewery was established in 1551 and is based in Southern Bohemia; a region of ponds, charming countryside and great beer.
Queen Bohemian Lager has taken everything that is unique and original from Pilsner beer including the brewmaster Michal Voldrich who was awarded 2014 Brewmaster of the year in the Czech Republic; not a small feat in a country that has the highest beer consumption per capita in the world. Queen Bohemian Lager uses only Czech ingredients, the beer is produced adhering to strict EU requirements for PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) status, as granted to products of special quality and produced within designated areas, similar to Champagne in the Champagne region in France.
