The TFWA executive team is now in Cannes supervising the final
preparations for TFWA World Exhibition & Conference which will be staged in
the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès from 18th to 23rd
October.
With virtually all the damage caused by the recent severe flooding now
cleared away, TFWA is pleased to report that the build-up of the event is proceeding
according to schedule and that all venues will be used as planned.
Erik Juul-Mortensen, President TFWA commented, “The Board and management
of TFWA have been very impressed by the speed and efficiency of our partners
and the authorities in Cannes during the clean-up process following the
extraordinary deluge and subsequent flooding in the city ten days ago. The
MIPCOM show which precedes TFWA World Exhibition & Conference took place as
planned last week without any major problems.
“There remain one or two issues, including the reconnection of some
France Telecom landline services to certain hotels and restaurants, but we are
advised that these will be resolved this week. The services in the Palais,
including the internet facility, are working normally and we are looking
forward to a busy and productive week.”
Further details on all aspects of
the show, on-site registration information and other details can be found at www.tfwa.com.
