Forty companies which have not previously exhibited at TFWA World
Exhibition & Conference, or who have been absent for a few years, will be adding
their latest and most exciting products to the rich diversity offered by the
regular exhibiting companies in the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, Cannes
from 18th to 23rd October.
Among the newcomers are Roberto Cavalli, Diesel,
Cruciani, Liujo, Eden Park and Mac Douglas in the fashion & accessories
category; Fragonard Parfumeur and Moroccanoil in fragrances &
cosmetics; Maurice Lacroix and Tous with jewellery & watches; Freixenet and
Crystal Head Vodka from the wine & spirits category; Ricola and Tea Forte
from confectionery & fine food; Cross and Cabeau with their gifts &
toys; Skross and Akita Electronics; and Yunnan Tobacco International joining
the tobacco exhibitors.
TFWA is delighted to welcome back Ermenegildo Zegna, Elizabeth Arden,
Lise Watier and other well-known brands which are returning to the show after a
short absence.
With just a few weeks to go until the start of this pivotal event in
the duty free & travel retail trade calendar, the total number of
exhibiting companies is set to match, or indeed exceed, last year’s total of
471, between them presenting hundreds of brands and thousands of products
destined for airports, airlines, marine companies, downtown and offshore duty
free outlets.
Alessandra Visconti, TFWA Vice-President Corporate, explains: ““TFWA receives many applications for stand space at both
TFWA World Exhibition and at TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition, which is a clear
indication of the ever-growing value of these events within the duty free &
travel retail industry. Our only frustration is that we are not always able to
satisfy demand in spite of the fact that we use every available square metre of
exhibition space as efficiently as possible.
“We aim to offer to our visitors an exciting portfolio of
brands across the various product categories, introducing alongside all the
major players a selection of companies which are relatively new to the sector. Unlike
a category-specific exhibition, TFWA caters to the needs of many product
sectors and is committed to exhibiting the latest and the best across the
entire spectrum. We are confident that this year’s exhibition will be a true reflection
of the dynamism of our industry.”
Online pre-registration for TFWA World Exhibition & Conference 2015 is now closed, but visitors can still register on-site in Cannes. The
registration pavilion beside the Palais will open from 09:00 on Sunday 18th
October until midday on Friday 23rd.
