The
Travel Retail Consortium has announced new officers for 2014/15, as
well as three new members.
New
officers elected are: Richard Thorpe (RT Travel Retail) Chairman;
Nicola Fraser (Coty Prestige) Vice Chairman. Both positions are for
two years. Jaime Whittaker (Accolade Wines) continues in his
role as Treasurer while Tina Davies (Imperial Tobacco) remains as
secretary.

The
TRC also welcomes three new members in 2014: Aurora World Ltd,
Sekonda and Heineken.
Richard
Thorpe says: 'We are absolutely delighted to welcome these
three very strong brands to the Travel Retail Consortium.
Sekonda and Heineken are leaders in their categories within travel
retail and Aurora is one of the fastest growing toy brands in the
industry.'
The
TRC has an exciting programme for 2014 with a very successful weekend
event for members and travel retail operators having taken
place this April and a business lunch planned for September at a
spectacular London venue.
The organisation's
objectives are to improve standards of business within the
travel retail industry; promote members’ products and services;
discuss industry issues; and provide social and business networking
opportunities for key industry customers and members'
representatives at annual events. The TRC is also active in
raising funds for charity and the Chairman nominates a new charity
each year.
