50 years of Aigner – the Munich-based leather lifestyle brand is starting its anniversary year 2015 with a major international appeal. Unique stories and memories relating to the Aigner brand are being sought. 

La dolce vita - meanwhile Etienne Aigner founded the luxury brand of the same name in Munich in the 1960s, he perfectly captured the attitude towards life during this period with his exclusive leather creations. Soon the chianti red accessories became the in-demand “cult objects” and turned into the fashion statement of the 60s and 70s. Today, Aigner is a global lifestyle brand with tradition and the highest quality standards. The trend-oriented designs constantly reinterpret the historic Aigner DNA and complement the elegant luxury heritage with hot details. In over 400 sales points throughout the world, womenswear, menswear and kidswear are now sold alongside shoes, watches and jewellery, as well as bags and accessories. Aigner has also been regularly presenting itself at Milan Fashion Week since 2004. 

During the years Aigner has reached many people with its brand world: customers, employees and fans associate personal memories and experiences with the brand. With an international appeal via media and in the brand’s shops, the venerable establishment is now on the hunt for these very stories. The starting signal for the anniversary promotion will be given in March 2014. In June, a select panel will be choosing the ten best stories in the categories of national and international customers as well as friends and customers. The winners can expect an unforgettable photo-shoot with a renowned fashion photographer in Munich - the flight and glamorous 5-star hotel included. The exclusive pictures will be published in 2015 in the anniversary booklet ‘Aigner 50th Anniversary’.
