Furla
continues to expand its cruise-ship
presence with a 10 sq m generic space with the biggest cruise/ferry
operator on the Baltic Sea Tallink Group through SKYlink.
The
980-cabin “Silja Serenade” ship operates between Finland
and Sweden and is the first of all Tallink's 18 vessels to have had a
massive overhaul to its retail offer. The previous 600 sq m retail
space has been more than double in size to 1,300 sq m, creating the
'Tax Free Superstore.”
The
Tax Free Superstore features a series of new standalone category
concepts including a large fashion
boutique “Luxury,” where the new Furla space is located.
‘The
space has now been open for 2 months and initial results are most
encouraging,’ says Furla Global Travel Retail Director Gerry
Munday.
