Paul & Shark is pleased to announce the launch of its
second Nick Wooster X Paul & Shark capsule collection – the collection
tells the brand’s story through the eyes of an eclectic American designer. The
collaboration was officially launched at Antonia Milano on the 12t of February.
The event was attended by rising Italian rapper Anastasio, winner of the latest
edition of Italy’s X Factor, who wowed all in attendance with a live
performance.
Born from a desire to raise the brand’s influence among
fashion-conscious customers, Wooster reimagined Paul & Shark’s iconic
products, made them his own and branded them with an X. A case in point is the
house’s trademark blue wool sweater, adorned with buttons on the shoulder,
resized and made from nylon with fluorescent details.
Colour, prints, patchwork and the unconventional use of
materials are the key elements of the Nick Wooster X Paul & Shark
collection. The fluorescent knitwear is made from ultra-light cashmere, while
the parkas, shirts and shorts feature patchwork details inspired by striped
shirts and bonded with contrasting materials, including nylon. The jackets and
shirts have been embellished with exclusive contrasting colour blocks while the
roomy coats are often reversible.
“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Nick Wooster once
again,” says Catherine Bonelli, Paul & Shark’s Global Travel Retail
Director. “Nick cleverly combines style and sophistication in all his designs,
and his pieces really bring something unique to Paul & Shark’s overall
collection.”
