Godiva chocolate shop makes an entrance at St Pancras

A new temptation has just been added to the food offering of St Pancras: luxury chocolate brand Godiva has opened a new shop in the station.

The independent Belgian chocolatier is branching out into the UK.

Last month, Godiva launched its UK ecommerce site, and this will be its 11th opening, with stores already in favourite shopping areas like Selfridges, Canary Wharf and Covent Garden.

Guy Riddell, head of business development EMEA, said:

"We are delighted to open our latest Godiva store at St Pancras International station and are looking forward to delighting customers with Belgian chocolate gifts, and treats including drinks, ice creams and freshly dipped strawberries and other fruits."

Nicola Shaw, chief executive of High Speed One, said:

"St Pancras prides itself on bringing together well known high street names and boutique independent retailers. I am sure it will be a huge hit with commuters looking for a treat for themselves or a loved one."

And of course, Godiva arrives at the station just in time for Valentines Day this week.
