TFWA
has organised a diverse selection of activities at TFWA Asia Pacific
Conference & Exhibition, which will take place in the Marina Bay
Sands Expo and Convention Center (MBS) from 12th-16th
May, that are designed to help delegates to network with colleagues
old and new.
Carla
Guiducci, Vice Present Marketing, TFWA: “Business networking is
an essential element of any trade show. TFWA takes enormous trouble
to organise a range of social events at venues which are not only
attractive but also conducive to meeting the people who will make
your business tick in the Asia Pacific region. Even first-time
visitors will quickly feel at home engaging in light-hearted
activities in elegant yet relaxed surroundings. Most importantly, our
unique ONE2ONE ‘match-making’ service takes the headache out of
identifying appropriate contacts and arranging appointments.”
The
popular ONE2ONE service, which puts airports and operators in
touch with exhibiting brands and distributors, is available now at
http://tfwa.com/duty_free/ONE2ONE-meetings.1222.0.html.
The meetings will take place in a special suite of rooms inside the
exhibition hall.
With
a record exhibition space of almost 8,000 square metres on level B2
of MBS and more than 240 stands, delegates attending TFWA Asia
Pacific will be sure to have a busy and productive week in an
exhibition venue of the highest quality.
For those looking for
an informal meeting place after hours there will be the TFWA Asia
Pacific Bar and terrace on level 4 of MBS serving refreshments on
Monday 13th from 17:45 to 19:30 and from 18:00 to 19:30 on
Tuesday and Wednesday. The sponsors of the Bar are Avalon
Group - Protégé-International, Bache-Gabrielsen, Bardinet, Brown
Forman, Casa Vinicola Zonin, Constellation
Brands Canada - Inniskillin Ice Wine, Dupuy
Cognac, Distilleria Bottega - Alexander It, Gérard Bertrand,
International Beverage, La Martiniquaise, Lateltin Ag, Macduff
International, Miguel Torres and Tequilera Corralejo.
The
TFWA Asia Pacific Golf Tournament,
organised in partnership with Interparfums on the Tanjong course at
the Sentosa Golf Club with its captivating views across freshwater
lakes to the South China Sea, will get the week off to a great start
on Sunday 12th
May with first tee-off at 07:30.
On
Sunday evening at 19:30 the Welcoming
Cocktail at the world-famous Raffles
Hotel will have a ‘Scent of Chance’ theme.
For
a mid-week break TFWA proposes the Chill-Out
Party at the Mandarin Oriental
Poolside on Tuesday 14th at
19:30 which will take a playground theme with pinball, pool, darts
and table football among the amusements on offer. This informal event
is kindly sponsored by Tic Tac from Ferrero.
The
social climax will be the Singapore
Swing Party, which this year will be
staged at the historic Alkaff Mansion, on Wednesday 15th
starting at 19:30. Located in the serene Telok Blangah Hill Park,
just minutes from MBS by courtesy bus, the mansion offers panoramic
views of the park and the sea below. Guests will travel back to the
‘Roaring Twenties’ for a night of dining, dancing, jazz and
casino games at one of Singapore’s most spectacular venues.
Tickets
to the social events are
included in the TFWA Asia Pacific Conference & Exhibition Full
Delegate package. However, extra tickets may be available for
purchase from the registration area on site subject to availability.

Asia Pacific Conference & Exhibition is open at www.tfwa.com.
