DUTY FREE AND TRAVEL RETAIL COMMUNITY FLOCKS TO INDUSTRY CONFERENCE ON CHINA



TFWA and APTRA are delighted to announce that 350 delegates from 193 companies have registered for the inaugural Industry Conference on China, which will open next week in Beijing.

The delegates include many of the most influential people in duty free and travel retail in China, including senior executives from 17 airports, 26 retail operators, 8 agents and distribution companies, 105 brand-owners, and representatives from the business and trade press.

The conference, which is entitled ‘China’s Century: The Fast Pace of Change in China Duty Free & Travel Retail’, will start with an Opening Cocktail in the Imperial Ancestral Temple Tai Miao on Tuesday, 5th March.

The two-day programme is packed with presentations by experts from the duty free and travel retail industry, the Chinese aviation and business community, eminent academics and media commentators.

However, time has also been allocated for networking, which is essential to developing business in this dynamic and diverse market, including a Gala Dinner in the Golden Hall of the Beijing Hotel, coffee breaks and business lunches.
