REGISTRATION DEADLINE LOOMS FOR TFWA CHINA’S CENTURY CONFERENCE

Just eight days remain before pre-registration closes for the 2015 TFWA China’s Century Conference, which is being staged from 10th to 12th March in the Jing An Shangri-La Hotel, Shanghai.

The two-day programme of the China’s Century Conference, organised by TFWA in partnership with APTRA, offers duty free and travel retail professionals a mix of macro- and micro-level insight to trading practices and the retail environment from some of the country’s leading airports and travel retailers, as well as successful businessmen and women with first-hand experience of operating in China.

The presence of major players like China Duty Free Group, Sunrise Duty Free, King Power Group, LS Travel Retail and the HNA Group, which owns and runs airlines, industrial concerns and 10 airports including Haikou Meilan and Sanya Phoenix, has been confirmed.

The majority of the key stakeholders present have confirmed that they will make themselves available for meetings with signatories to TFWA’s ONE2ONE pre-arranged meetings service. Among leading Chinese airports to have confirmed their attendance are Beijing Capital, Shanghai Hongqiao, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Liaoning, Guangzhou Baiyun, Nanjing plus Capital Airports Holding, which wholly owns or manages more than 40 airports across China.

The Shanghai Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, with its links to tourism, customs, airport and port authorities, will also send a delegation and offer a keynote presentation, providing a valuable perspective on international involvement in the region.
