The deal came into effect on 1 January. The duty free regions had previously been managed by Bacardi, while the domestic Caribbean business was managed by Monarch.
Brands already in the WEBB portfolio include The Macallan, Highland Park, The Famous Grouse, Brugal, Tito's vodka, Armand de Brignac Champagne, Blanton’s, Mionetto and Frescobaldi.
WEBB Managing Director Andy Consuegra said: "These are exciting times ahead of us. Our business has more than doubled in the last two years and the partnership with Illva for Disaronno and Tia Maria is a great addition to our already strong portfolio of premium global brands.
"We also just opened a new office in the heart of Brickell. This is not only a hub for our business and partners but it is also a great training centre for our distributors and colleagues in the region. In addition, the WEBB team continues to get much stronger.”
Recent personnel additions include Anette Mourier, formerly of Seagram, who joined last year to manage marketing and key accounts in duty free. Industry veteran Sandy Welch also recently joined from Pernod Ricard while Phillip Jarrell continues to be Director of Sales for the Caribbean and Cruise Lines.
