FURLA OPENS ITS FIRST STORE IN AMSTERDAM

Furla is pleased to announce the opening of its first boutique in the Netherlands. The new flagship store in the heart of Amsterdam covers 100 square meters, with a large and elegant window overlooking PC Hooftstraat, the exclusive shopping street.

With its functional yet welcoming layout, the new store embodies the most authentic Italian lifestyle. It was conceived to showcase bags and small leather goods in perfect harmony, along with footwear, sunglasses, jewelry, watches and assorted textiles. The architects found inspiration in the magnificently restored 18th century villa that is Furla’s headquarters in Bologna, a special place where history mingles with contemporary design. High-end materials such as rosewood and champagne-colored satin finishes were selected for the interiors. The result is a highly sophisticated, clean-lined concept that is the architectural hallmark of all the brand’s stores.

“The opening of the Amsterdam store highlights the importance of this market for the company. We invested in a prestigious location to boost brand awareness and to accompany the consumer on the path to discovering the Furla lifestyle through the brand’s collections, and ultimately, appreciating Italian creativity and quality,” said Alberto Camerlengo, Furla Group’s CEO.

He added: “The addition of a store in Amsterdam stems from our desire to be present in the most important capitals of fashion and culture all around the world. Amsterdam is certainly among these; it’s an open, cosmopolitan city, with a rich cultural heritage that has developed over centuries, and at the same time, it has a modern style that is perfectly in tune with Furla’s fundamental values.”
