For the new Mousse Meringue Limited Edition, GODIVA’s
Chefs Chocolatier have revealed their ultimate craftsmanship and refinement
with an unexpected combination of textures: a rich hard chocolate shell unveils
a light, refreshing filling with a crunchy white meringue with delicious
flavours such as lemon, coffee, strawberry or delicious chocolate. Presented in
beautiful 9 and 16 pcs light pink giftboxes with soft white embossed meringue
swirls, and closed with a delicate gold ribbon, these cloud-like confections
are sure to appeal all ages and surprise all palates.
Exclusively at Dubai International Airport, GODIVA
has offered Dubai Duty Free (DDF) the opportunity to pre-launch this charming
collection in July, one month before the worldwide launch.

A soft and delightful atmosphere was created in
Concourses A, B & C, with gondolas beautifully decorated with the light
pink colour of the giftboxes. This collection is proving its success, with the
daily average sales high above expectations. Commenting on the exclusive
launch, Dubai Duty Free’s Vice President for Purchasing, Saba Tahir said, “We were
delighted to exclusively launch the latest global collection from Godiva ahead
of other travel retailers and duty frees in the world. With the new product
attracting existing as well as new consumers, the launch was well received. We
are confident that this new collection will continue to tempt our customers and
bring added value to the category.”
During the month
of the worldwide pre-launch, Godiva traded significantly way above the category
with +25% versus July 2014. Almost 20% of Godiva’s sales at DDF were generated
by Mousse Meringue collection.
This pre-launch was supported with hostess sampling,
allowing travellers to discover, in avant-première these delicious creations
and to succumb to a day-dream…
