Comic Culture Hits Cannes

The new Classic Pop Art collection from breo will be shown for the first time at TFWA World Exhibition (Blue Village, Stand H1).

This collection takes the Pop Art culture and applies it to watch faces to produce a range of four fun and funky designs with varying comic-strip themes. Two feature a blonde ‘Marilyn Monroe’ styled woman and two elements of typical comic book slogans: Zap! and Pow!

Soft rubber straps come in black, white and colourful blue, lilac, purple, pink and red. Two of the models are expected to be exclusive to travel retail; pricing ranges from €25-30

In a highly competitive market, keeping the offer fresh and innovative is all important,’ says breo global travel retail sales manager Alison Fishwick. ‘This new Pop Art collection is fun, stylish, colourful and, most of all, a little bit different from anything else on the market.’

With more than 180 listings on over 80 airlines worldwide, breo is now actively building its ground and ship shop business with early success. Through Ocean Trading, breo is now listed with Southend, Norwich, Blackpool and Derry airports in the UK, while the brand is also available through airport locations in Pakistan including Karachi and Islamabad. Through Hudson News, breo is available at Sharjah, Basel and Puerto Rico airports while by the end of October, six army bases will be supplied with a selection of watches and sunglasses through ES-KO.
It’s a great start for us on the ground and we’re very hopeful of building on this base at TFWA World Exhibition,’ continues Fishwick.

Stand contacts will be Alison Fishwick and Paul Widdop.
