This year has seen
Mumbai
Duty Free (Chhatrapati Shivaji
Maharaj International Airport), list one of just 50 bottles of Glenfiddich 50 Year Old released globally this year.
One of the rarest
and most precious expressions of single malt ever released by William Grant
& Sons for Glenfiddich, the 50 Year Old was first released in 2009. Since
then, just 50 bottles have been released each year, with the final 50 bottled
in 2017. Mumbai Duty Free (operated by Flemingo International) is the latest to
offer customers the opportunity to purchase this amazing liquid.
This latest
precious whisky released in Glenfiddich’s 125th Year, features a
bottle collar of Sterling silver, designed by sixth generation silversmiths
Thomas Fattorini. The
individually numbered, hand-blown bottles are set in
beautifully hand-stitched, leather-bound cases, inspired by the personal
ledgers of Glenfiddich’s pioneering forefather, William Grant. Nestled inside
the case is a leather-bound book that details the whisky’s rich history as well
as the stories of the expert craftsmen who nurtured it.
Commenting on the launch, WGS Business Development Manager ISC Hardeep

retailers to list Glenfiddich 50 year old, reflecting our ongoing commitment to

delighted to be partnering with William Grant & Sons to bring this incredible
whisky to the store.”
