BLUEDOG MAKES KEY APPOINTMENT TO REFLECT TRAVEL RETAIL GROWTH


Production and events company Bluedog Productions Ltd is expanding its UK-based team to reflect a rapidly growing presence in the global travel retail industry.


Latest member of the 8-strong team, on a part-time consultancy basis, is well known Debbie Ansell who has joined Bluedog to head Business Development within the Beauty sector.

Debbie brings over 35 years of retail buying experience to Bluedog, including 12 years with World Duty Free (Dufry Group) during which time she led the Luxury sector and was Commercial Director for the UK & Germany, but was principally Head of Beauty  - a role that has been responsible, as part of the wider team, for all  store redevelopments including the flagship London Heathrow T5. She was also critically involved in integration projects with Alpha and Aldeasa; and worked with global colleagues to ensure and share best practices, whilst creating strong relationships with brand partners to deliver the best customer experiences possible.

Adds Debbie: “Having worked in retail for so many years and luxury retail for the past 12, I have seen the varied levels of in-store theatre and activations – and have often experienced the additional workload required when things don't go well.
